We’re Michelle and Lynne (or Mish and Murph), long-time friends and proud co-founders of The Cheese Cellar. In 2024 we opened our doors with a simple goal: to bring exceptional cheeses and wines to our neighbourhood while celebrating the character and charm of local business.
Our passion is rooted in quality over quantity. Every item on our shelves and in your glass has been carefully selected to offer a unique and memorable experience. Whether you’re a seasoned turophile or a curious sipper, we’re here to share what we love in an atmosphere that feels like home.
Everything we serve has been hand-picked (and taste-tested, of course!) with care. If it doesn’t make us smile, it doesn’t make the counter. We believe in the power of small businesses and the magic of supporting local – it’s at the heart of everything we do!

We have become regular visitors to the Cheese Cellar, love it. Great vibe, top quality produce and nice selection of alcohol and the cheese boards are 👌👌. If you haven't already , just head there for a chilled couple of hours, it's well worth it.

Good selection of cheeses. Really friendly staff who are happy chat about the cheese they sell, and they have a good selection on offer. I haven't been to their wine and cheese night yet, they are all full up at the moment. But they look like a great night. You should definitely go out of you way to call in.
